- Heavy Housekeeper / Floor Technician – Responsible for the overall maintenance of hard surfaces and carpeted areas, including tasks such as dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting. Duties extend to offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and public areas such as dining rooms. Responsibilities also include the collection and proper disposal of trash, recycling, and soiled linens.
- Safety – Employ protective gear as required. Ensure the safe and effective mixing and use of cleaning solutions, adhering to all safety regulations. Report equipment malfunctions and supply needs to supervisors promptly, ensuring compliance with established standards and policies for quality and safety. Follow infection control and universal precautions to maintain sanitary conditions.
- Punctuality – Maintain consistent attendance and arrive on time. Complete assigned cleaning areas according to the established schedule and respond promptly to paging systems.
- Customer Experience – Uphold a positive representation of HCSG by following directions and maintaining courteous and cooperative interactions with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
- Resident Experience – Foster positive, respectful, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
- Exhibit a positive attitude and effectively follow both oral and written instructions, performing routine, repetitive tasks daily.
- Upon successful completion of training, demonstrate leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently and safely.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must consistently attend work as scheduled and arrive punctually.
- Adhere to COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as required by State, Local, or Customers.
- Capability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, and to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Willingness to work in proximity to food and cleaning products.
- Residence within the service area is required.
