We are currently seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist who is enthusiastic about delivering outstanding customer service and eager to be an integral member of our dynamic customer service team. In this role, you will engage with both internal and external customers through inbound and outbound calls, ensuring a premium customer service experience while actively contributing to our growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers daily to maintain and enhance business relationships.
  • Utilize consultative sales techniques to tailor Ferrellgas products and services to customer needs, while also seeking opportunities for new business.
  • Ensure accurate account setup, maintenance, and closure of all customer account information.
  • Address customer issues in accordance with our complaint resolution policy.
  • Conduct soft collections for customers on credit hold or overdue accounts, including some cash handling tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, including typing and data entry experience
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on team collaboration and cultivating positive relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Access
