AI Pay Analysis: To determine the competitiveness of the hourly rate for a Cake Decorator in Utica, MI, it’s essential to compare it against local and national industry standards. As of my last update, Cake Decorators in the U.S. typically earn between $12 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and the specific establishment. In Michigan, rates can be slightly lower than the national average due to the state’s cost of living. If the offered hourly rate falls within or above this range, it would be considered competitive; however, if it’s significantly below, it may not attract skilled candidates. Analyzing local job postings and wage reports would provide additional clarity on its competitiveness in the Utica area.
