Position Summary:
The Environmental Services Tech II is responsible for ensuring a clean and secure work environment for patients, visitors, hospital staff, and themselves. Duties include cleaning patient care, public, clinical, and office areas using appropriate chemicals and manual/electrical floor care equipment.

What You Will Do:

  • Clean walls, stairwells, and elevators.
  • Remove and re-hang curtains.
  • Respond to service calls and other requests.
  • Perform various restorative floor care tasks.
  • Operate basic functions of a pager and phone system.
  • Utilize floor scrubbers and carpet extractors as needed.
  • Strip, wax, scrub, and recoat all types of hard flooring.
  • Retrieve beds from various hospital areas and transport them to patient rooms.
