New Wage Scale plus $3.40 per hour hazard pay, along with sign-on bonuses available for both full-time and part-time positions:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – $6,000 for Full-Time and $3,000 for Part-Time.

Qualifications:
In alignment with our organization’s mission to enhance the lives of the residents we serve, the Charge Nurse (Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse) plays a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer service and nursing care within the assigned unit and facility at large.
- The Charge Nurse assists the Director of Nursing, Unit Managers, and/or the Assistant Director of Nursing in planning, developing, and overseeing the operational aspects of the assigned unit, ensuring that residents receive exceptional care around the clock.
- Responsibilities include assessing residents’ conditions, implementing interventions, and developing care plans. Accurate documentation of observations within the PCC system is required, along with strict adherence to facility medical records policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular rounds independently and alongside physicians to monitor and evaluate residents’ symptoms, progression, and responses to treatments and medications, implementing necessary interventions.
- Deliver preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care aimed at addressing the physiological and psychosocial needs of residents.
- Administer a range of treatments for residents, including changing dressings, cleansing or irrigating wounds and incisions, performing Foley catheter irrigations, IV therapy, and administering tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
Education, Training, and Experience:
- A valid state license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse is required.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- While one year of professional nursing experience in a long-term care setting is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.
- Familiarity with relevant state nursing regulations is advantageous.
Specific Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Understanding of current federal and state laws and regulations applicable to nursing practice in a long-term care environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Proficiency in applying mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical scenarios.
- Basic computer literacy is essential.
