Job description:
The Painter plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the hotel through the painting and refurbishment of rooms, common areas, and exterior surfaces. This position entails preparing and applying finishes to various surfaces while ensuring that the highest standards of quality and cleanliness are upheld.

Responsibilities:

– Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by thoroughly cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming as necessary.
– Painting & Finishing: Skillfully apply paints, varnishes, and stains to both interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, doors, windows, trim, and furniture.
– Touch-ups & Repairs: Conduct touch-ups and minor repairs on existing paintwork to sustain a fresh and uniform appearance throughout the hotel.
– Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment, including the proper handling of hazardous materials, while ensuring the cleanliness of work areas.
– Equipment & Supplies Management: Maintain, organize, and securely store painting equipment, tools, and supplies, promptly reporting the need for restocking or repair of equipment.
– Collaboration: Work in partnership with the maintenance team and other hotel departments to effectively schedule painting projects, ensuring minimal disruption to the guest experience.
– Quality Control: Guarantee high-quality workmanship with meticulous attention to detail, meeting both aesthetic and durability standards.
