Job description:
Salary Range: $17.51 to $21.12
Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time (16-29 hours)
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM / 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Schedule: Monday to Friday with various days; every third weekend off and holiday rotation
As a Cook at Brio Living Services | Chelsea Retirement Community, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by preparing wholesome and delicious meals in our scratch kitchen. Your culinary skills will not only provide nourishment but also bring joy to those you serve.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals for residents.
- Collaborate with the team to create healthy and flavorful dishes.
- Accommodate special dietary requirements and restrictions.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required; culinary education preferred but not mandatory.
- ServSafe Certification preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of prior experience in a professional kitchen as a cook, line cook, or prep cook in the food service industry.
- Ability to perform frequent stooping and bending, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
