Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Uphold a professional image for the company by adhering to grooming and uniform standards, including the requirement for slip-resistant footwear.
  • Prepare food with strict adherence to recipes, including preparation methods such as seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, portioning, and serving.
  • Follow the production preparation list and maintain accurate records; requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Utilize knives, slicers, and other kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Wash, slice, and peel items as indicated on the preparation list.
  • Store prepared food items safely and ensure accurate date labeling.
  • Adhere to all brand standards, including food safety, sanitation, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.
  • Implement excellent food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety.
  • Regularly restock all kitchen supplies and food items necessary for service.
  • Assist in ordering and planning food supplies as directed by a supervisor.
  • Report any equipment repairs and maintenance needs to management.
  • Monitor the proper rotation and dating of prepared food items and storage areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, free of safety hazards.
