AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the competitiveness of the hourly rate for the “Resident Assistant – 1st Shift – Jenison” role in Jenison, MI, we need to consider both local and industry standards for similar positions. As of 2023, the typical hourly wage for resident assistants typically ranges between $12 to $18, depending on experience, organization, and specific job responsibilities. In Michigan, wages may cluster towards the lower to mid-range due to cost of living factors, with many facilities offering entry-level positions starting at around $13-$15 per hour. If the rate for this role falls within or slightly above this range, it can be considered competitive; however, if it is significantly lower, it may be seen as less attractive to potential candidates amidst rising wage expectations and increased demand for healthcare support roles. Ultimately, local market conditions, specific job expectations, and benefits offered will also significantly influence how competitive the rate is perceived.
