Gordon Food Service is seeking a Senior Event Producer who will bring to life the strategic vision of events and incentive travel through comprehensive planning, execution, and on-site management. This role collaborates closely with Event Team Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Event Managers and the Incentive Trip Manager to design and implement event activities that align with the goals and objectives of Gordon Food Service.
  • Oversee on-site event management activities as directed by the Event Production Supervisor, including coordinating and executing show seminars, ordering food and beverage, and arranging on-site services.
  • Facilitate communication with vendors selected by the Event Manager.
  • Coordinate decor logistics by collaborating with Marketing Services and external vendors to identify and procure necessary materials, while also working with Event Managers on larger-scale requirements.
  • Engage with team managers to comprehend strategy and seminar/mini event needs, developing plans for successful execution and facilitation.
  • Under the guidance of Event Managers, create floor plans and oversee the arrangement of facilities during events.
  • Serve as the primary contact for vendors and divisional teams throughout the event planning and execution phases, representing the Events team on-site.
  • Hire and supervise security and safety services for each event/trip as required.
  • Direct support staff and actively participate in the set-up and tear-down processes of events/trips.
  • Manage event logistics, including the transportation of materials and individuals.
  • Ensure that all assigned Trips/Events adhere to the highest standards of integrity and Corporate Brand image.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • An Associate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of two years of prior event planning or communications experience, or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates equivalent qualifications.
  • Candidates may be considered based on a proven ability to meet the essential functions of the role through relevant work experience in lieu of formal education requirements.
