Job description:

As a Nutrition Lead at Life Time, you will play a pivotal role in educating and promoting LTH nutritional products within the club. This position demands a robust understanding and enthusiasm for both nutrition and fitness, coupled with exceptional sales acumen. You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding team members with commission-based roles to meet their sales objectives effectively. The Nutrition Lead reports directly to the Personal Training Lead within the club, receiving additional support from the Corporate LTH team.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Sales Training & Education:

  • Facilitate engaging training sessions for personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and front desk staff, focusing on our nutrition supplement products.
  • Develop educational materials and presentations that simplify product knowledge and highlight benefits.
  • Organize monthly sampling events during peak hours to increase product awareness.

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with team members to devise and execute effective sales strategies for promoting nutrition supplements.
  • Monitor sales performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to optimize team potential.

Product Inventory Management:

  • Partner with the café leader to maintain optimal inventory levels of nutrition supplements, particularly ahead of promotions or special events.
  • Assist in planning and implementing promotional campaigns, ensuring that all staff are informed and adequately prepared.

Customer Engagement:

  • Be present on the fitness floor to interact with members, addressing inquiries regarding supplements and providing personalized recommendations.
  • Collect feedback from staff and members to fine-tune product offerings and sales tactics.

Collaboration:

  • Cultivate a strong partnership with the café team to align nutrition supplement sales with café offerings.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights and strategies aimed at enhancing the overall member experience and satisfaction.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Years of Experience:

  • Prior experience in nutrition, fitness, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in sales, particularly within the health and wellness sector, is advantageous.

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

  • CPR and AED Certification.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities; capacity to inspire and educate others.
