Job Title: Cook

Company: Aimbridge Hospitality

Location: Portage, MI

Pay: $16 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $16 for a Cook in Portage, MI, is somewhat below the average wage for this occupation. Generally, cooks in the United States earn between $12 and $20 per hour, with variations based on experience, specific skills, and type of establishment. In Michigan, rates tend to align with or slightly exceed the national average, particularly in urban areas or higher-end dining venues. Given this context, $16 per hour may be seen as competitive for entry-level positions or less demanding cooking roles, but it might be considered low for more experienced cooks or those in specialized culinary environments.
