The primary objective of this role is to consistently deliver exceptional food while ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for food handling.
Essential Duties:
This job description outlines the essential duties associated with this position, although additional responsibilities may be assigned by leadership as needed. Management retains the right to modify the duties of the position.
– Prepare food items according to the recipes and procedures established by the Courtside Grill.
– Ensure safe handling and storage of food and chemicals in compliance with Health Department standards.
– Assist with food preparation, dishwashing, and sanitation efforts as required.
– Collaborate as a team member to achieve efficient and high-quality food production.
– Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace to facilitate safe food handling.
– Contribute to the resolution of work area challenges by effectively communicating ideas and solutions to supervisors and colleagues.
– Participate in various aspects of food service production as necessary.
Job Requirements:
General Requirements: None
Work Experience: A minimum of one year of experience as a Line Cook.
Education: High school diploma, GED, or successful completion of 12 grades combined with ongoing enrollment in an early college program.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills Required:
– Strong communication and customer service skills.
– Ability to prepare multiple food items efficiently within designated timeframes in accordance with Courtside Grill standards.
– Knowledge of sanitation practices and safe food handling procedures.
– Proficient reading, verbal, and written communication skills.
– Capacity to meet the physical demands involved in food preparation and production.
– Skill in using a keyboard as may be necessary to fulfill the essential duties of the position.
Preferred:
– ServeSafe Food Certification.
