Job description:
As a Retail Fixture / Installation Crewmember with American Greetings, you will play a crucial role in fulfilling our mission to foster a more thoughtful and caring world. We seek enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our team to assemble, construct, and dismantle greeting card displays in various retail environments.

Compensation Details:
– The starting pay is $15.80 per hour, with two scheduled increases over the first year of employment (note that pay rates may vary based on location).
– After six months, the pay rate will increase to $16.70 per hour.
– After one year of continuous employment, the pay rate will rise to $17.50 per hour.
– Employees will be compensated for travel time when commuting to job sites in a company vehicle.
– Overnight travel expenses, including hotel accommodations and a per diem, will be covered.
– Comprehensive training will be provided, along with all the necessary tools.

Location:
– This position is based out of Wyoming, MI.

Work Schedule:
– The average weekly commitment is approximately 15 hours, with potential increases to 20 hours per week during holiday periods.

Key Responsibilities:
– Construct greeting card shelves, racks, and displays with precision.
– Foster effective communication and collaboration with team members and store associates.
– Adhere to provided instructions, planograms, and diagrams to ensure proper installation.
– Assist the Installation Supervisor in gathering and transporting materials necessary for display resets.

Qualifications:
– Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry products, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 60 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
– Proficient in using small hand tools for installing and modifying fixtures, including hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills.
– Willingness to engage in occasional overnight travel as dictated by business needs; hours may fluctuate accordingly.
– Comfort in potentially crowded environments, close quarters, loud noises, and low-light conditions.
– Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
