Job description:

The Painter is tasked with upholding and enhancing the visual appeal of the hotel through meticulous painting and refurbishing efforts in guest rooms, common areas, and exterior surfaces. This role encompasses surface preparation, application of high-quality finishes, and conducting minor touch-ups and repairs to meet the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and aesthetic excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Surface Preparation: Thoroughly prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming as necessary.
  • Painting & Finishing: Apply paints, varnishes, and stains to both interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, doors, windows, trim, and furniture, ensuring an exceptional finish.
  • Touch-ups & Repairs: Conduct touch-ups and repairs on existing paintwork to uphold a fresh and uniform appearance throughout the hotel.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to safety guidelines to maintain a secure work environment, including the proper handling of hazardous materials, while ensuring work areas remain clean and organized.
