Job description:

Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Public Space attendant is to ensure clean and comfortable public areas for guests, in accordance with Veridea’s hotel standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide assistance to all guests in a sincere and courteous manner, going above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction whenever possible.
  • Execute thorough and accurate cleaning of hotel public areas per Veridea Hotels operational policies and standards to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction, including but not limited to:
    a. Removing trash and debris from public spaces such as the gym, lobby, and hallways.
    b. Cleaning, sanitizing, polishing, and dusting all surfaces in public areas.
    c. Proactively conducting deep cleans in areas that require attention.
    d. Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping the floors in public areas.
    e. Reporting any unusual circumstances to the Supervisor.
    f. Promptly communicating maintenance requests and addressing them when the maintenance team is unavailable.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cart and work area to maximize job efficiency.
  • Acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the property and its facilities to effectively respond to guest inquiries.
  • Understand and implement all hotel safety and security procedures to ensure a secure environment for both employees and guests.
  • Keep the immediate Supervisor informed of any problems or unusual matters that require attention, allowing for swift corrective action.
  • Perform additional duties as requested or necessary.
