Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care in Sterling Heights is seeking a dedicated full-time Resident Caregiver. In this role, the Resident Caregiver will assist residents in all aspects of their daily lives as outlined in the resident service plan. Responsibilities include providing personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activity facilitation, orientation, and addressing information needs. This position demands a high level of tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to the ongoing interactions with residents and their families, ensuring their satisfaction is paramount.

Job Requirements
Education: High School diploma (Springhouse); High School diploma or equivalent (Arden Courts/Linden Village)
Skills: Basic reading and writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in English
Years of Experience: Experience working with the elderly is preferred; prior experience with dementia is advantageous
License: Not applicable
Certification: Certification in accordance with state regulations is required; candidates must successfully complete the necessary training provided by Springhouse/Arden Courts
Physical Demands: Candidates must have the ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods; effectively push and pull objects; lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted regularly; utilize hands, arms, and legs for washing, bathing, dressing, writing, and cleaning; read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment; operate clothes washers, dryers, and kitchen appliances (Arden Courts/Linden Village); and maintain good physical and mental health.
