Position Summary
Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program offers an exciting opportunity to learn and evolve within an established company boasting over 45 years of experience. As a new associate, you will undergo a specialized interactive training program lasting approximately 16 weeks, encompassing a variety of aspects crucial to managing your own account, including:
- Comprehensive Training: Gain proficiency in the roles of housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker, including the operation of various industrial cleaning equipment.
- Leadership Development: Engage in training, quality control, and staff in-servicing aligned with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
- Policy & Procedure Familiarity: Develop the skills to provide leadership and support to meet quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations.
- Reporting: Learn to maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment for submission to HCSG and facility management.
- Training Oversight: Take responsibility for all aspects of training, quality control, and staff in-servicing to uphold HCSG standards.
- Management Responsibility: Acquire skills to effectively manage payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, inventory maintenance, and budgeting.
Additional responsibilities include effective communication of directives, adherence to safety protocols, punctual attendance, and enhancing customer and resident experiences through positive interactions.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess the following:
- A positive attitude with the capability to follow verbal and written instructions while performing routine tasks.
- The ability to autonomously fulfill responsibilities post-training, prioritizing safety.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills for record maintenance and report completion, including web-based reporting.
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as applicable.
- Physical capability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and engage in extended standing, sitting, bending, and walking.
- Availability to work in proximity to food and cleaning products.
- Residency within the service area.
