Job description:
This position is accountable for the daily execution of all price hosting activities that support corporate retail stores. Key responsibilities include managing regular and promotional retail changes, electronic marketing and loyalty offers, invoice reconciliation, item authorizations, scale management, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
– Efficiently process all aspects of direct store delivery (DSD) maintenance, such as new item setups, store authorizations, cost and retail changes, and promotional allowances, ensuring timely execution.
– Develop and process promotional offers, including weekly advertisements, electronic marketing efforts, loyalty programs, price adjustments, fuel rewards, and scale management to facilitate all store-level pricing activities.
– Conduct the invoice reconciliation process for all DSD vendors servicing corporate retail stores.
– Identify and investigate discrepancies, rectify out-of-tolerance invoices, and coordinate with relevant internal departments (e.g., category management, retail stores) and/or DSD vendors as necessary.
– Validate complex promotional and electronic marketing offers through the department’s lab system as required.
– Address inquiries received via the pricing hotline, serving as a crucial touch point for information flow to corporate retail systems, including back door receiving, scanning, scales, and point of sale applications.
– Adhere to best practices in customer service, assisting both internal and external customers with inquiries related to item data, promotional offers, rewards, authorizations, and scales.
– Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
– High School diploma or GED.
– A minimum of two years’ experience in retail, scanning, vendor receiving, customer service, and/or data entry is preferred.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal associates and external vendors.
– Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.
– Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
– Basic mathematical proficiency along with strong typing and 10-key skills.
– Competence in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
