Responsibilities:

  • Execute floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors across resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
  • Operate floor care equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of floor care activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Engage positively with residents, staff, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in floor care is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and effective communication with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to fulfill daily responsibilities.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying a maximum of 50 pounds, as well as pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds; must have the ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended durations.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Must be comfortable working in environments that involve food and cleaning products.
  • Able to follow both oral and written instructions diligently, performing routine tasks daily.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
