Job description:
Cleans and disinfects assigned work areas in accordance with departmental procedures, including the removal of medical waste, trash, and linens. Performs both interim and restorative maintenance on hard floors, carpets, and upholstery, adhering to established protocols. Takes full responsibility for designated areas of cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:
– Cleans, disinfects, and stocks patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas, following established procedures rigorously.
– Safely removes and disposes of linens and various waste streams.
– Conducts interim and restorative maintenance on hard floors, carpets, and upholstery per departmental guidelines.
– Assembles, maintains, and stores necessary equipment and supplies to ensure task completion in alignment with departmental standards.
– Collaborates effectively with team members to ensure seamless coordination of services and reports any maintenance or specialized cleaning needs within the work area.
– Assists visitors and employees in navigating the facility to enhance their experience.
– Functions effectively within a designated cleaning area while remaining adaptable to work across departmental sites based on coverage and operational needs.

Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
– Experience in public service or customer service within hotels, hospitals, environmental services, or janitorial settings is advantageous.
