As a Food Service Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting with food preparation, portioning meals, and providing exceptional service to our valued customers. Under the supervision of your manager, you will receive on-the-job training while building meaningful connections with those we serve. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of food items for daily service and ensure proper dating of products.
  • Coordinate and assist in the setup and breakdown of designated stations under the direction of your manager.
  • Accurately cook and prepare food following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain precision in portion control during food preparation and service.
  • Conduct daily temperature logging to ensure food safety.
  • Sample all food items on the line prior to customer service to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Notify management and remove any food items that do not meet quality expectations.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists for assigned stations.
  • Greet customers upon arrival and departure from the serving line.
  • Solicit feedback from customers regarding service quality and address any concerns with a positive demeanor.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, including floors, equipment, walls, refrigerators, and work surfaces.
  • Ensure all work areas and serving utensils are consistently cleaned and sanitized.
  • Manage the responsible disposal of waste from the service line.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
  • Participate in daily safety observations and promptly report any safety hazards to management.
  • Cross-train in various areas as necessary.
  • Be flexible to work in concessions, catering, and at special events as required.
  • Execute tasks assigned by your manager on a regular basis.
  • Complete any additional tasks requested by supervisors or members of the Aramark management team.
  • Guide and support employees on the line to ensure efficient and timely service. Collaborate with utility workers for sanitation support as needed.
