As a Food Service Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting with food preparation, portioning meals, and providing exceptional service to our valued customers. Under the supervision of your manager, you will receive on-the-job training while building meaningful connections with those we serve. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of food items for daily service and ensure proper dating of products.
- Coordinate and assist in the setup and breakdown of designated stations under the direction of your manager.
- Accurately cook and prepare food following established recipes and guidelines.
- Maintain precision in portion control during food preparation and service.
- Conduct daily temperature logging to ensure food safety.
- Sample all food items on the line prior to customer service to ensure quality standards are met.
- Notify management and remove any food items that do not meet quality expectations.
- Complete opening and closing checklists for assigned stations.
- Greet customers upon arrival and departure from the serving line.
- Solicit feedback from customers regarding service quality and address any concerns with a positive demeanor.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, including floors, equipment, walls, refrigerators, and work surfaces.
- Ensure all work areas and serving utensils are consistently cleaned and sanitized.
- Manage the responsible disposal of waste from the service line.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
- Participate in daily safety observations and promptly report any safety hazards to management.
- Cross-train in various areas as necessary.
- Be flexible to work in concessions, catering, and at special events as required.
- Execute tasks assigned by your manager on a regular basis.
- Complete any additional tasks requested by supervisors or members of the Aramark management team.
- Guide and support employees on the line to ensure efficient and timely service. Collaborate with utility workers for sanitation support as needed.
