Job description:

A Housekeeper is primarily responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel are kept clean, organized, and visually appealing. This includes servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, restocking carts with necessary supplies, changing bed linens, and replenishing guest room amenities while adhering to company standards and safety protocols. Additionally, this role may entail conducting deep cleaning activities within guest rooms as part of preventative maintenance efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, as necessitated by scheduling needs.
  • Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag as per brand standards.
  • Consistently comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties, which include preparing guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens for housekeeping cart setup.
  • Remove all trash and dirty linens from guest rooms.
  • Execute other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • May be required to disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms to facilitate deep cleaning.
  • Deep cleaning tasks may include, but are not limited to, changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, restoring scratched furniture, or rehanging sliding doors.
