We are seeking to fill a part-time Barista position immediately. This role is located at the Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital, situated at 16001 West 9 Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48075. Please note that applications will only be accepted online.

This position involves preparing and serving coffee and espresso drinks, along with related food and beverage items. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders using standardized recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process cash and credit transactions.
• Restock condiments and supplies while ensuring cleanliness of the service area.
• Uphold presentation and serving temperature standards according to HACCP guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment and supplies.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards for food preparation.
• Keep display equipment clean and organized during service.
• Ensure thorough cleaning of equipment and workspace before transitioning to other tasks.
• Provide courteous greetings and service to customers, addressing any concerns professionally.
• Serve customers efficiently to avoid delays and maintain dining flow.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of daily menu items and effectively communicate this to customers.
• Utilize effective selling techniques to assist customers in their decision-making.
• Ensure food is presented attractively and served in accordance with standards.
• Perform additional duties as required.
