Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to ensure that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel are maintained in a clean and aesthetically pleasing manner. This role involves servicing guest rooms daily in line with hotel procedures, stocking housekeeping carts with necessary supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room amenities while adhering to company standards and safety protocols. Additionally, the Housekeeper may be tasked with performing deep cleaning activities within guest rooms in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, with preference given to candidates with experience in the hospitality industry.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are essential.
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Proficient in evaluating and selecting among alternative courses of action swiftly and accurately.

Responsibilities:

- Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparing the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens.
- Remove all trash and soiled linens from guest rooms.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- May be required to disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms to facilitate deep cleaning.
- Deep cleaning tasks may include, but are not limited to, changing air conditioning filters, cleaning A/C coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, addressing scratched furniture, or re-hanging closed sliding doors.
