Job description:

As a Car Wash Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting Store Leadership to achieve WetGo’s strategic goals and objectives while driving sales growth.

Experience Required: 1 to 3 years
Experience Desired: Prior experience in Car Wash Management
Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
Certification or Licensing Required: Completion of Technical/Mechanical School
Lifting Requirement: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of work to protect Team Members, customers, and products.
  • Deliver prompt, courteous customer service; address customer concerns and complaints effectively while promoting a positive company culture.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the car wash facility, including window cleaning and sweeping debris, as well as snow removal and salting when necessary.
  • Perform hand-finishing on vehicles as required.
  • Collaborate with Store Leadership to achieve target sales and foster ongoing relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Assist customers in finalizing their transactions as needed.
  • Manage the ordering and receiving of all WetGo supplies.
  • Inspire the team to offer value-added services, such as vehicle preparation, as necessary.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with Store Leadership and WetGo Team Members.
  • Support the training and leadership of both current WetGo attendants and new hires.
  • Execute all WetGo promotions, including signage placement, ordering supplies, team training, and establishing performance goals.
  • Create work assignment sheets for each WetGo shift, ensuring tasks are completed daily.
  • Uphold and enforce all company policies as outlined in the GetGo Handbook and those established by GetGo Management regarding safety, security, and other regulations.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the car wash operates reliably.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of equipment and all areas, including the interior and exterior of the car wash and vacuum areas, to meet safety and sanitation standards.
  • Keep the car wash area tidy by regularly removing debris and managing snow when necessary.

Starting Rate of Pay: $16.50
