As a CDL A Delivery Driver based in Lansing, Michigan, you will play a crucial role in building relationships with customers while delivering essential food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. This position offers a day shift schedule with local routes, ensuring you will be home every evening. You will be responsible for unloading cases weighing up to 100 lbs, utilizing a ramp and a two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule: Monday to Friday, with start times between 3 AM and 5 AM until route completion.
Pay: Drivers can expect to earn an average of $70,000-$100,000 per year, with a guaranteed minimum of $1,070 per week. Your compensation includes a daily base pay, component pay, and you will be paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered.

Are you the right fit?

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Class A CDL License upon hire
  • Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
  • Successful completion of a drug test and background check, including a review of drug usage (marijuana included)
  • A clean driving record, compliant with DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
  • Registration with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provision of electronic consent are mandatory as of January 6, 2020.
