Griswold Home Care for Medina, Wayne, and Western Stark Counties is looking for compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to join our team. As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

In this role, you will deliver compassionate and personalized care to individuals within the comfort of their homes, ensuring their well-being and comfort. This position offers flexible scheduling, including daytime shifts, with clients typically requiring 4 hours of care, and the possibility of longer shifts at times.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Prepare meals and accommodate dietary needs.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and household tasks.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and run errands.

Requirements:

  • Preferred experience of 1+ years in caregiving and familiarity with mechanical lifts; however, training is available for suitable candidates.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage time effectively.
  • A compassionate and empathetic disposition.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
