We are seeking a Seasonal Merchandiser to join our Field Sales team. Seasonal Merchandisers report directly to a Sales Manager and engage with our key retail partners, including Home Depot and Lowe’s. Key responsibilities include executing merchandising directives and resets, establishing strong relationships with store personnel and customers, and communicating inventory opportunities to the Scotts Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Merchandise products both inside and outside retail locations
• Provide product knowledge about Scotts brands to customers and store associates
• Ensure products are consistently stocked and presented attractively
• Identify opportunities for solution selling and expanding product space
• Support the Sales Manager and store staff as needed
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with team members to accomplish assigned tasks

Qualifications for Success:

• Preferred experience in retail, merchandising, and/or stocking
• A problem-solving mindset and a customer service-oriented approach
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays
• Proficiency in operating company-provided technology
• Possession of a current, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Capability to routinely walk, stand, climb ladders (8-12 feet), lift up to 45 lbs, and adapt to various weather conditions (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain)
