Ryder is seeking dedicated Permanent Full-Time Warehouse Associates to join our team in Bay City, Michigan.
Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly:
- Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
- Overtime Pay: $31.50 per hour
- Additional Pay: $2.00 per hour for assignments on the third shift
- Schedule: Third Shift—Thursday, Saturday, Sunday from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least six months of related warehouse experience required, with one year or more preferred
- Ability to operate powered industrial trucks, including stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks; understanding of maintenance procedures for such equipment is necessary
- Familiarity with operating manual and automated warehouse/manufacturing equipment is preferred
- Powered industrial truck certification is a plus
- Competence in basic mathematics and the ability to read in English for safety instructions and work-related documentation
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Proficient in data input into Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills for maintaining professional relationships at all organizational levels
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Package, kit, and assemble orders and materials
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers, ensuring correct scanning of materials
- Train dock employees on new procedures
- Maintain facility security at the end of shifts, investigate and resolve scanning concerns, and uphold housekeeping standards
- Perform picking and packing duties while checking for product or container damage
- Adhere to location policies and procedures regarding material handling
- Execute material moves following all associated transactions as necessary
- Engage in workgroup activities to foster self-improvement and enhance warehouse operations
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas and perform other duties as required
