Job Title: Dental Assistant New or Experienced

Company: Kevin Wieczerza DDS PLLC

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Pay: $17 – 21 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17 to $21 for a “Dental Assistant New or Experienced” role in Ann Arbor, MI, appears to be somewhat competitive but may vary based on several factors such as experience, additional certifications, and specific job responsibilities. According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and local salary surveys, dental assistants in Michigan typically earn around $16 to $22 per hour, suggesting that the offered rate sits within the national average but on the lower end for those with more experience or specialized skills. Given the cost of living in Ann Arbor and the demand for dental services, employers may need to offer more competitive wages, particularly for experienced candidates, to attract and retain quality talent in the field.

Job description:

We are excited to announce an immediate opening for a Dental Assistant at our general dentistry office in Ann Arbor. This opportunity is suitable for either new or experienced candidates and involves a full schedule of approximately 33 hours per week.

We are looking for a motivated, coachable, and cheerful individual to join our team, as our lead Dental Assistant is departing for an exciting new opportunity. Our goal is to welcome a new team member in May or June 2023.

While prior experience is valued, it is not a prerequisite. The most critical attribute we seek is a strong team player who fosters a harmonious workplace environment. Our team is composed of one dentist, one hygienist, one front desk staff member, and two assistants. We believe that collaboration is essential to our daily success and overall satisfaction. Our focus is on delivering quality dental care, treating people with kindness, and enjoying our collective time at work.

Our practice is centered around patient care, serving a diverse and multicultural patient population. Many of our patients speak Spanish as their primary language, while almost all are fluent in English. Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required. To facilitate communication, Dr. Wieczerza utilizes an electronic translation tool to converse with patients and is willing to provide a similar device to you if necessary. We value the enriching multicultural relationships that benefit both our staff and patients.
