Job description:

The Durable Slate Company is seeking to enhance our team by adding a Project Manager.

Core Requirements:

  • A minimum of a two-year degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in construction management or architectural training.
  • Proficiency in construction administration processes, including submittals, shop drawings, product data, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret specification books.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Compliance with our status as a state-certified drug-free company, including the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and random drug tests.
  • Valid driver’s license with four or fewer points to meet insurance requirements.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
  • Capability of passing Federal, NSA, and Department of Defense background checks for military and/or government projects.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the role.

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience in roofing.
  • Hands-on construction field experience.
  • Prior project management experience.
