We are seeking a dynamic General Manager (GM) who embodies leadership, passion, and sales acumen. In this pivotal role, you will provide guidance and direction to the sales and group personal training teams across two locations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of sales principles and operational excellence, paired with a fervor for coaching and professional development. As the chief architect of our sales initiatives, you will craft and implement a lead generation and marketing strategy to elevate our fitness program sales while championing the health and wellness advantages of a active lifestyle. Responsibilities & Expectations: General Manager

  • Demonstrate all studio activities and sales processes through active involvement, leading by example.
  • Ensure the achievement and surpassing of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales campaigns, including promotions, events, and outreach. Execute effective lead generation strategies.
  • Oversee the complete employee lifecycle for all studio personnel: recruitment, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance evaluations, enforcement of disciplinary actions, and offboarding.
  • Train and mentor all staff, establishing a leadership pipeline. Conduct daily role-playing exercises to foster a high-performing team.
  • Manage studio budgets including revenue, payroll, supplies, inventory control, and the Return Merchandise Authorization process.
  • Oversee the scheduling of sales personnel and conduct weekly audits of time cards. Ensure timely and accurate payroll submission biweekly with strict adherence to compliance and integrity.
  • Facilitate monthly staff meetings with sales and fitness teams to review and report on sales objectives, goals, events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with Regional Managers to report on studio performance and critical updates.
  • Collaborate with the Head Coach to optimize scheduling and maintain OTF class sizes.
  • Ensure adherence to front desk operational protocols, including member check-ins, handling telephone inquiries (both general and sales-related), first-time guest bookings, onboarding new members, and other administrative duties as required.
  • Plan and promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis, utilizing OTF tools for effective outreach and community engagement.

Operational Duties

  • Ensure compliance with OTF business policies and adhere to the Thrive employee handbook in daily studio operations.
  • Maintain OTF branding through consistency in actions and enforce adherence to corporate policies, business practices, systems, and processes.
  • Collaborate with the facilities department to troubleshoot and resolve any equipment and technology issues, ensuring that the facility is clean, well-maintained, and operationally sound.
  • Make effective decisions regarding customer service issues, ensuring the highest standards of support.
