Job Position Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for covering staff shortages due to call-offs or vacations, managing product and equipment deliveries, and performing laundry pickups and drop-offs, as well as providing additional support in areas requiring detailing. Familiarity with walk-behind floor cleaning machines is advantageous. This role guarantees a minimum of four hours of evening work, with a maximum of six hours, for three days each week, from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. The workday begins at 4:30 PM, and the position requires reporting to the home office in Dublin on weekdays. The hourly wage is $18.25. Proficiency in English is required, and bilingualism in Spanish is a plus. A gas tank fill-up of up to $50 per week is provided if the successful candidate works more than three days in a week. Breaks will be provided for shifts exceeding five hours in length. Candidates must possess reliable transportation and valid auto insurance. A drug test may be required.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks for facilities utilizing approved ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures, including product delivery and laundry management.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, disposing of trash, cleaning windows, and moving light furniture and equipment.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols by using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Open and secure facilities, and manage the security system as needed.
  • Previous experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper for 1-2 years is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • On-the-job training will be offered to candidates exhibiting a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience within a professional janitorial service, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
