Job Description
Job Title: Entry Level Tax Preparer
Company: Jackson Hewitt
Location: Warren, OH
Pay: $14 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $14 for an “Entry Level Tax Preparer” in Warren, OH, appears to be on the lower end of the spectrum when compared to industry standards. According to various salary surveys and job postings, entry-level tax preparers in similar regions typically earn between $15 to $20 per hour, depending on the complexity of the role, the firm’s size, and local demand. While this rate might attract applicants looking for immediate employment, it may struggle to retain talent given the costs of living and competitive rates offered elsewhere. Therefore, this rate could be viewed as non-competitive in attracting skilled candidates in the current job market.
