Job description:

The Breakfast Host/Hostess is responsible for the preparation and service of the daily complimentary breakfast for hotel guests.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Deliver personalized service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Adhere to the required uniform, complete with name tag, earpiece, and radio.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Prepare various food items according to the hotel menu, including cut fruit, coffee, and hot breakfast options.
  • Stock beverage stations with juice, milk, coffee, and tea.
  • Arrange self-service food items for guest access.
  • Clear and clean tables promptly as they are vacated.
  • Address spills and maintain a clean environment.
  • Dispose of trash and ensure all self-service food and supplies are restocked as needed.
  • Wash serving equipment and return it to storage.
  • Move and wipe down all countertop items to maintain cleanliness.
  • Return reusable food supplies to appropriate storage areas.
  • Perform a final inspection to ensure cleanliness in the breakfast and kitchen areas after breakfast service.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Additional Responsibilities:
