Job description:

Pay: $13 per hour

At Great Wolf, our Host/Hostess plays a vital role in creating an exceptional dining experience by serving as the first point of contact for our guests. This position is essential in ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and attended to throughout their visit. The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests, escorting them to their assigned tables, and monitoring their needs during service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcomes patrons and escorts them to their designated dining area while accurately tracking table availability through the floor plan board.
  • Communicates current promotions to customers and informs them of their assigned server.
  • Effectively manages the patron waitlist as needed.
  • Upholds the establishment’s standards by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies to protect both patrons and the venue.
  • Assists dining room staff by setting and clearing tables, replenishing water, and serving beverages as required.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Must demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening is required.
