Job Description
Job Title: 2nd Shift Machine Operator
Company: Filtration Group
Location: West Union, OH
Pay: $14.5 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $14.50 for a “2nd Shift Machine Operator” in West Union, OH, is generally considered on the lower end of the spectrum when compared to industry standards. As of late 2023, the average pay for machine operators in similar roles typically ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, specific industry, and the complexity of machinery operated. Given the cost of living in West Union and surrounding areas, which is relatively lower than in urban centers, this rate may still attract applicants, but it may struggle to retain skilled workers in a competitive labor market. Therefore, while it may be feasible for entry-level positions, the rate could be less appealing for experienced candidates looking for competitive compensation.
