Job description:

This position is for a part-time Associate responsible for sampling products on behalf of suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators play a key role in introducing customers to new and exciting items through product tasting events, sampling, and demonstrations. While experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstrating, or acting as a brand ambassador is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to effectively communicate key product information.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations while preparing samples, including cooking, processing, plating, and serving.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets for the showcased products.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age (18+ for positions involving alcohol and production).
• Availability on weekends (Friday through Sunday) is preferred, with the possibility of working on holidays and weekdays.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet during work shifts.
• Capability to safely operate appliances, including microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
