Job Position Description:

This role is essential in creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers by executing the following core responsibilities (with the possibility of additional tasks as assigned):

– Perform all cleaning duties for facilities utilizing provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
– Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom sanitation, vacuuming, as well as moving furniture and equipment.
– Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
– Utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
– Open and secure facilities, and manage security systems as necessary.
– While 1-2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
– On-the-job training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
– Experience in a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school setting is a plus.
– Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is essential.
– Contribute to a positive working climate through a pleasant attitude, reliability, punctuality, and proper uniform adherence.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

– This position requires constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching overhead or forward. The ability to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs is necessary.
– Capability to read and comprehend cleaning instructions.
– Ability to differentiate between various cleaning products and their appropriate uses.
