Role Summary
The Team Member plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience to our members. By providing outstanding customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, you will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
  • Manage all front desk activities, including:
    • Responding to phone inquiries with a friendly demeanor and assisting callers with various questions.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Making necessary updates to member accounts.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as necessary.
    • Contributing to the maintenance of cleanliness and organization within the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.
  • A genuine passion for fitness and health.
  • An upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Strong listening skills coupled with the ability to empathize and resolve issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated diplomacy in all interactions, utilizing appropriate behavior and language.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
