Job Position Description:
This position is essential in creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers’ facilities and grounds. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Executing all cleaning duties for facilities using designated ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
– Duties encompass sweeping, mopping, polishing, disposing of trash, and cleaning windows as well as rearranging furniture and equipment.
– Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
– Utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
– Opening and securing facilities, as well as enabling and disabling security systems when necessary.
– Previous experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper (1-2 years) is advantageous but not mandatory.
– On-the-job training will be provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
– Experience in a professional janitorial setting, such as an office complex, hotel, hospital, or school, is a plus.
– Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking are essential.
– Contributing to a positive work environment with a pleasant demeanor and team-oriented attitude, including adherence to uniform guidelines and punctuality.
