Newly opened Vintage on Race is seeking dedicated Line Cooks to join our team. We offer both PM and AM shifts to accommodate a diverse range of schedules.

As an experienced Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking an array of dishes that our restaurant guests will savor. Your passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences through high-quality food is essential to our mission. Ideally, you possess prior cooking experience, enabling you to effectively manage multiple tasks while fostering a friendly and productive team environment.

Responsibilities:
– Inspect and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas, including equipment and work surfaces, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
– Ensure the freshness of food and ingredients by monitoring quality, managing inventory, and rotating stock appropriately.
– Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure that food is stored and cooked at the correct temperatures.
– Season and prepare food in accordance with recipes and guidance from the chef on duty.
– Turn or stir foods as necessary to achieve even cooking.
– Coordinate with fellow line cooks to ensure that food is served simultaneously and efficiently.
– Address guest feedback with promptness and professionalism.

Qualifications:
– Prior experience as a line cook is preferred.
– ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification is highly desirable.
– Strong communication skills.
– Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
