We are currently seeking fun-loving, enthusiastic individuals to enhance our Guest Experience Team.
As a part-time Team Merlin Guest Experience Host, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for our guests at the attraction. Hosts rotate through various positions, including Admissions, Ride Operations, Food and Beverage, Retail, Birthday Parties, Costume Characters, and Special Events. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining an engaging and safe environment, and showcasing extensive product knowledge. Your ability to connect with guests will ensure that they receive an optimal experience, filled with fun and magic.
This is a seasonal position with a tentative end date of April 2025. All seasonal team members will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent part-time role at the conclusion of the season.
Responsibilities:
– Approach Guest Service with enthusiasm and passion, embodying the Merlin Values at every opportunity.
– Proactively engage with guests, displaying a high level of energy and enjoyment.
– Ensure that extended lines are managed safely, all while providing an excellent guest experience.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in public areas, ensuring displays and points of sale are well-stocked and ready for attraction opening.
– Adhere to the opening and closing procedures as outlined in the department’s operating plan.
– Uphold standards of Health, Safety & Security, including compliance with COVID-19 policies and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
– A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in attractions, entertainment, or customer service environments is preferred.
– An engaging, dynamic, and friendly personality.
– Strong communication, listening, and motivational skills.
– Ability to work effectively in environments with loud noises and confined spaces.
– Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
