We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Guest Services Representative who will serve as the primary point of contact for our guests, ensuring a seamless experience from reservation through check-out. What You’ll Do:
As a Guest Services Representative, your role will encompass various responsibilities aimed at delivering outstanding service to our guests:

  • Guest Interaction: Warmly welcome and greet guests, efficiently handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and accurately recording charges for rooms, taxes, My Store purchases, and pet fees in accordance with hotel policy.
  • Guest Assistance: Act as the primary resource for guests, providing information about the hotel, amenities, local attractions, dining options, shopping opportunities, and places of worship. Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints with professionalism.
  • Telephone Management: Utilize the phone system with appropriate etiquette, take and transfer calls, accurately record messages, and manage guest wake-up calls.
  • Financial Transactions: Complete credit card authorizations, efficiently manage cash transactions, and provide change as necessary.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain well-organized records of daily activities, including preparing the Night Audit Checklist, managing cash and call logs, and updating the Front Desk Log. Report any front desk, guest relations, or maintenance issues to the General Manager.
  • Safety & Security: Follow all safety and security protocols diligently. Conduct regular property inspections, including walking all floors and stairwells, checking exterior doors for security, and ensuring proper functioning of outside lighting.
  • Loyalty Program Promotion: Actively promote the Stay Rewarded Loyalty Program to enhance guest loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Cleaning: Assist with various cleaning tasks, including laundry (washing, drying, folding, and storing), cleaning and sanitizing common areas, stocking supplies, making coffee, and ensuring that all entrances and sidewalks are clear of snow and ice.
  • Support Services: Provide additional guest supplies such as rollaway cribs, towels, and soap as needed. Issue and track master keys and key cards for housekeeping and maintenance staff.
  • Housekeeping Assistance: When necessary, assist with cleaning guest rooms, especially during peak occupancy or when the housekeeping staff is short-staffed.
