Position Summary:
The Bartender will be tasked with the service of a wide range of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. This role requires individuals who are personable, professional, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Consistent attendance and availability to work scheduled events are critical components of this position. The hourly compensation for this role ranges from $15 to $16, in addition to tips.

Responsibilities:
– Uphold the company standard of excellence in guest service, interactions with co-workers, and adherence to uniform standards.
– Adhere to bar pre-shift notes and menus, providing service as outlined.
– Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with established procedures and comply with state and federal regulations concerning alcohol distribution.
– Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirits, and effectively upsell products to guests.
– Pour drinks responsibly, following company standards for serving size.
– Verify guests’ age by checking IDs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
– Communicate cut-off requirements to guests as necessary.
– Listen to and respond to customer requests and concerns actively.
– Manage intoxicated guest situations by de-escalating conflicts; when needed, involve management or security.
– Engage with management if assistance is required in decision-making that exceeds standard protocols.
– Request additional stock or manage restocking as needed.
– Demonstrate proficiency in cash handling; maintain responsibility for the cash bank assigned to the bar.
– Sustain a clean and sanitary work station, ensuring all bar equipment is well-maintained.
– Execute additional tasks as assigned, which may include the setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organizing the cooler.

Qualifications:
– A minimum of six months of bartending experience.
