Job Description
Job Title: Server Assistant – Big E’s Downtown GR
Company: Suburban Inns
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $10.33 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $10.33 for a Server Assistant at Big E’s Downtown GR in Grand Rapids, MI, is below the current industry standards for similar roles. As of 2023, server assistants in the region typically earn between $12 to $15 per hour, often with additional tips that can significantly supplement income in food service positions. Given the rising cost of living and competitive job market, particularly in hospitality, this rate may not be attractive enough to retain talent and could hinder the recruitment of qualified candidates. Therefore, adjusting the compensation to align more closely with market rates would likely be beneficial for both employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.
