As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment, which may involve light housekeeping tasks
- Adhering to safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
- Monitoring residents’ conditions and promptly communicating any changes to your supervisor
- Administering medications and injections to residents according to medical charts
- Following prescribed schedules for resident repositioning assistance
- Complying with documentation procedures for medications administered
- Utilizing sound judgment to ensure resident care and safety
- Collaborating with fellow team members and assisting them in their duties
- Completing all required documentation and charting
- Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs
- Obtaining meal trays and assisting residents with eating
- Performing additional duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements:
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Reliable transportation is necessary
- Availability to work every other weekend is required
