Role Summary
The Team Member plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional member experience by providing outstanding customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience.
  • Execute all front desk activities, including:
    • Answering phones in a courteous manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system efficiently.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Managing necessary updates to member accounts.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager when appropriate.
    • Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • A passion for fitness and health.
  • A consistently upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, consistently exceeding their expectations.

  • Ability to demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, utilizing appropriate behavior and language.
  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
