As a Safety Manager for Commercial Mission Critical/Data Center projects, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the implementation and supervision of project safety guidelines that align with the Caddell Corporate Safety Program. Your responsibilities will include developing safe work plans in consultation with the Corporate Safety Manager, conducting thorough daily safety inspections of active work areas, and documenting these inspections diligently. You will provide guidance to field staff regarding safety issues, policies, procedures, and regulations, in addition to conducting initial safety orientation sessions for new hires.

You will be responsible for monitoring housekeeping practices to maintain a clean and safe environment, serving as the construction safety liaison with owners and subcontractors, and preparing and submitting all required safety-related reports. In the event of accidents or property damage, you will conduct thorough investigations to determine causes and recommend preventative measures. Additional duties may be assigned as directed by the Corporate Safety Manager.

The working conditions for this position are set in a construction environment requiring travel, with full-time hours. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform physical tasks, including crawling, climbing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, bending, kneeling, crouching, standing for extended periods, and lifting or holding more than 50 pounds. The role requires the capacity to navigate confined spaces and extreme heights safely. Candidates should also be prepared to work in varying environmental conditions, including hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions.

Ideal candidates will possess effective written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a working knowledge of applicable OSHA regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is necessary. Required certifications include OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, and Competent Persons Training.

Candidates should have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, with at least five years of experience in safety management. A four-year degree in Occupational Safety and Health and a preference for ten years of safety management experience will be taken into consideration.

This position is eligible for a market premium in addition to the base salary range of $62,100 to $93,200 annually.
